All parts are immune to elemental damage, but being hit once each with a Water-elemental attack will lower its defense and evasion. Using a party with powerful physical Techs is recommended, especially Double Techs if you have them, as they will not be able to miss - Retinite's evade is still good after it is lowered with Water. The top will use basic attacks, while the legs will use a single-target Sand Cyclone or a party-wide earthquake attack for moderate-to-high damage. The core won't do anything, but if it runs out of HP - Retinite's parts will drain it periodically, but attacking it with your party will accelerate the process - Retinite will go berserk. However, if the Core is the last part standing, it will quickly escape, cutting the XP, TP, and monetary rewards from the battle in half. Try to pay attention to the damage you're doing to the other parts so that you're quick on the draw when the Core is left alone. If the Core is still alive, the legs are the more dangerous of the two other parts. However, if the Core is killed, the torso will be more of a danger berserk than the legs. Depending on how much damage you're able to do to Retinite each round, consider these factors when deciding whether to take out the legs or the torso first.
