Arris Dome

Arris Dome is a dungeon in 2300 AD. It is located in the central region of the main continent, east of Lab 16, southwest of Lab 32 and west of the Sewers.

It contains one Key Item, one shop, one save point, and one Enertron.

Unlike most dungeons, the boss is faced before the possibility of fighting monsters. The party the player bring should already have fought at least one encounter together to learn any Dual Techs or Triple Techs prior to engaging the boss.

Requirements:

  Game Mode:
  Standard: Pendant and completion of the Prison sequence.
  Lost Worlds: None.
  Legacy of Cyrus: Inaccessible.
  Ice Age: Pendant and completion of the Prison sequence.

Recommendations: A full-screen damage tech capable of dealing at least 500 damage, to clear the Bits without triggering a counterattack. Any element not Fire is preferred, as Guardian's main body is immune to Fire.

Strategy

If the Guardian is hit by an attack while the Bits remain alive, they will counterattack the party with a Shadow-elemental Delta Attack, and if one Bit remains alive, the counter will be single-target [verify]. The Bits will not do a Death Counter, so any attack that hits the entire screen but defeats the Bits is safe to use.

Once the Bits are defeated, the Guardian will attack the entire party with a Shadow-elemental Laser Spin, and then a Fire attack. After this it will revive the Bits and the cycle will repeat. The Guardian is vulnerable to all attacks and elements save Fire. Poor luck with Tech order notwithstanding, most players can defeat it in a single cycle.
